Welcome to Jeremiah Marcus Media
Hi welcome to my page. It's a pleasure to have you around! Jeremiah Marcus Media has been immersed in photography and videography field since 2020 since the start of the pandemic. And he never looked back since!
Jeremiah Marcus Media is your ultimate destination to explore the captivating world of media through the lens of aspiring talents. The photos you see here is from the streets of China Town San Francisco. All it took was three photography buddies and three cameras. We got to work taking photos of each other!
My goal from the start was to be well rounded creative., which is why I have my fingers dipped in so many fields. DJ'ing is one of my favorite hobbies, as I can incorporate lighting, videography and of course DJ'ing! Since 2013 i've been spinning in clubs dispersed throughout the bay area.
DJ'ing is a great creative outlet. I can explore EDM genres and create a performance around the atmosphere that inspires me. Oddly enough DJ'ing, photography and videography go hand in hand as it's important to have the skills to record yourself and create media that you can promote on social media. These are a few of my favorite clips.
These are few photos that my friend Ricky took of me at China Town San Francisco. There's actually a lot happening behind the scenes here. While I posed for the camera, Ricky snapped the photo and my other friend KP was holding a neon tube, which is why you see the vibrant orange hues.
These are few photos of me modeling with my friend Frankie. I specifically chose this spot near 11th street San Francisco because of ecstatic graffiti on the walls. With good framing and a half smile, these photos came out great!
One thing has always fascinated me is neon. A simple drive through Colma Daly City, I stumbled on this neon wonderland. This is actually a mortuary decked with thousands of neon lights. So naturally I chose this a photoshoot location. I used a small on camera flash to light up my face. Even if I'm not smiling, this is still one of my favorite pictures.
I also think it's important to model and learn how to take photos of myself. This entire photoshoot was achieved with a tripod and self timer. I practice this because I strongly believe in self reliance, and not rushing through shoots. By myself I can take all of the time in the world and frame it up exactly how I want :) The end result was awesome!
The video you see above was actually taken in Daly City. I had a brief stint as a vlogger and thought it would be fun to do a sunset shoot. Here I stood on the cliff and noticed hang gliders soaring through the wind. The closer I ventured to the hang gliders I realized that they were hovering dangerously close the foliage. And that was the whole point. The hang gliders practicing their navigating a d piloting skills. Oh the thrills and the adrenaline rush. I'm so glad I caught it camera.
The above shoot was taken at a chistmas installation at Grace Cathedral. What looks like a normal christmas light, I saw an opportunity to use as ring light. So my friend and I climbed over the barricade and got right up close and personal and started posing. The below picture was taken at an empty parking lot. I simply added to new neon tubes on the ground and third to light up my face. The baren ivy in the background has a nice texture for the neon lights to bounce off of.
The Colma mortuary has such a diverse range of backdrops for photoshoots. The above is a gothic style facade. And below is the entrance to the mortuary. This was achieved with self timer, and dozens of blurry photos.
The photos below ere taken at mission street, while vlog was taken at Strawberry Hill on Golden Park. Not many people know there is a man made waterfall there that looks wonderful on camera. My friends and I took a fun stroll around the entire park and partied with geese in their natural habitat.
The photos below were taken at Jack London square. Its easy to walk past the palm trees with lights, but I made sure to make the most of the free backdrop and snap of few photos of myself. And since it was 11pm at night, there was no one around, which made it easier to pose for the camera.
The photo above was taken at near the Alameda Naval Air Museum. There is an abandoned airport track there. If you're willing to take a risk, you can climb the fence and take some epic photos with freighters in the background. The colors really blend well with each other, especially at golden hour.
The photos above were taken walking around Soma San Francisco. Any neon light was fair game to me. My friend Ricky is also great photography, taking pictures of a photographer. It's camera inception!
These photos are a mixture of Alameda and Oakland. Since the photos of myself were used with a self timer, I had to be extra careful as the camera was expensive and I was alone. The rest were still images of architecture that caught my eye!
Neon photography is my favorite medium. I slowed down the shutter speed to a ridiculously slow self timer. My face became slightly burred, while the neon highlights became extremely blown out. It's extreme! The exact way I like it. Also the trees were an art exhibit in Golden Gate park. Being alone at night, surrounded by neon lights, there is a certain level of emptiness and warmth that juxtaposes itself.
These are some photos from Grace Cathedral in San Francisco. I had the idea of doing a vampire themed shoot, which is why I am holding a skull. My friend Prinda was actually the model for the shoot but offered to take some photos of me. It helps having a interesting location, making it easier to jump on top of fountains and do silly poses with skulls in my hand. The blue shirt was a hand me down from my dad's closet and it works!
Again it means the world to me, that you're here at my page. This media production business has been such a fantastic creative outlet for me. I've met som many talented people and continue to collaborate with like minded visionaries. My goal is to rigorously post in this section, keeping you updated on my life and seeing me grow into the renaissance man that I wish to be in the future! Cheers to love and cheers to creativity! Talk to you soon!
